Paavakai Pitle

1 medium paavakai
one handful chopped onion
athula half chopped poondu
chinna nellikai alavu puli – soaked in half tumbler water
uppu
manjal thool
thani molagai thool
1 spoon vellam

  1. Pan + oil – paavakai cook till 3/4
  2. Put onion, garlic and saute
  3. vathangunathukku aprom all other ingredients except puli, vellam and saute for 2 mins.
  4. puli karachal oothanum – cover with lid and let is cook for 5-8 mins. Add little perungayam
  5. Once all are cooked, check for flavours and add 1 spoon vellam – peratunaapla varum pothu erakanaum.
